Dr. Barin Roy Chaudhuri

Prof B K Roy Chaudhuri was fellow of Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery and Ex-fellow State of Medical Faculty (West Bengal). He was an Ex-visiting Physician, House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, USA. He was President, A.O.I till 2006 to 2008 and President SAARC Otorhinolaryngologist Association in 2006 till 2008. He is also senior consultant in department of ENT, Vivekananda Institute of Medical Science, AMRI Hospital, Kolkata.

• Ex-chairman of the editorial board: Indian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery (6 years)
• He is the author of ‘Disease of the Year, nose and throat’ (1^st edition 1969, 5^th edition 2001)
• He has publication of more than 100 national & international journals.
• He has innovations: 3 Flap Tympanoplasty, Modified Septoplasty, Neo Stapedotomy, Piston through Cartilage shield in Ossicular – Tympanoplasty in absence of all the Ossicles in COM, Squamous type.

• K U SHAH SENIOR CONSULTANT AWARD for my paper presentation on 3-flap Tympanoplasty, a new technique, during the Annual Conference of the AOI
